The Playlabel rooftop
Playlabel organizes summer rooftop events in downtown Brussels. And in case you’re wondering, yes, this makes their parties pretty epic!
The twist of their rooftop sessions? Playlabel is actually an electronic music label and is very active when it comes to discovering new Belgian talent. Their DJ sets can be quite intense and are at the forefront of the electronic music scene.

Perché, the top of JAM Hotel
A hip boutique hotel located in the trendy area of St Gilles, JAM Hotel is the place to be this summer. Their interior designer Lionel Jadot is probably the hottest in the country right now, and they have a very instagrammable rooftop terrace!
Following their “J’peux pas, j’ai piscine” concept from previous years, the hotel bar was renamed “Perché” (which means “perched” in English).
Located on the seventh floor of the hotel, it’s easy to see why the bar was renamed. Offering a breathtaking view of the city, you can enjoy a delicious cocktail in a cozy or crazy atmosphere, depending on the time of day. It’s now open every day from noon to midnight.
How do you get to Perché? Enter through the JAM Hotel at 132 Chaussée de Charleroi, 1000 Brussels.
Beursschouwburg
If you feel like immersing yourself in a more artsy and cultural place, you have to visit the terrace of Beurscchouwburg in the heart of Brussels.
Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in June, you can enjoy free live music by local and international artists, starting at 5pm. Refreshing drinks and golden hour is included, of course.
They also hold many music festivals so don’t miss out on one of the more festive rooftops in Brussels!
Head over to Beurscchouwburg at rue Auguste Orts 20-28, 1000 Brussels. More info on their Facebook page.
The MIM restaurant
The restaurant of the Museum of Musical Instruments (MIM) is located on the top floor of its gorgeous Art Nouveau building. The restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the historic heart of Belgium’s capital city.
Don’t expect to go all party animal here though, the atmosphere is a bit more classy and quiet than on the other rooftops you just read about. Still, it’s absolutely gorgeous and the food is as good as the view.
MIM, 2 rue Montagne de la Cour, 1000 Brussels. More info on their website.
